This policy explains what information Big Mood Apps LLC (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit this website, thematic.bigmoodapps.com (the “Site”), and how we use it. The Site exists to introduce the Thematic app and link you to the App Store.
This policy covers the Site only. The Thematic app has its own privacy policy, which applies once you download and use the app: Thematic app privacy policy.
What we collect
The Site has no accounts, forms or sign-in. When you visit, we collect:
- Visit information: the page you opened, the link you arrived from, the time of your visit, and whether you tapped the download button.
- Device and browser information: such as device type, operating system, browser, screen size and language.
- Approximate location: country or city, worked out from your IP address. We don’t store your precise location.
We don’t collect your name, email address, contacts, photos or payment details on the Site.
How we use it
- To understand how many people visit the Site and which links bring them here.
- To measure how many visitors go on to download the app.
- To keep the Site working, secure and free of abuse.
Cookies
The Site doesn’t place cookies or store information on your device. Our analytics run without cookies and are reset each time you load a page.
Services we use
- PostHog provides our website analytics. It receives the visit information described above.
- Adjust measures app installs. When you tap the download button, you pass through an Adjust link on the way to the App Store. Adjust records that click, along with device information and your IP address, so we can tell which links lead to installs. See Adjust’s privacy policy.
- Vercel hosts the Site. Like any web host, it processes your IP address and basic request details to deliver pages and protect against attacks.
- Apple’s App Store handles the app download itself, under Apple’s own privacy policy.
We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t use the Site to show you ads.
How long we keep it
We keep analytics data only as long as we need it to understand how the Site performs, and no longer than two years.
Your choices and rights
You can block analytics with your browser’s privacy settings or a content blocker, and the Site will still work. Depending on where you live, including the European Economic Area, the UK and California, you may have the right to ask what information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or to object to how we use it. Because we don’t collect names or emails on the Site, we may need details such as the approximate date and device of your visit to find your data. To make a request, email admin@bigmoodapps.com. We won’t treat you differently for exercising these rights.
Children
The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us at admin@bigmoodapps.com and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed.
